The octopi image didn't work for me the first time but i have done a work around that might work for you. I managed to connect once my pi to the wifi, configured it, but as soon as i reboot my pi, it won't connect to the wifi again.

The response you noted to the command ifconfig wlan0 does indicate that your pi is not connected to your network. I managed to connect once my pi to the wifi, configured it, but as soon as i reboot my pi, it won't connect to the wifi again.

Most of today's wifi access points / routers disable a wifi client from seeing other clients on the wifi and on the wired network. Wifi connection is seemingly fine as i can run the printer without a problem via any browser on the local network.

I love octoprint, but to get the best performance of the duet you have to print from the sd directly. Check and make sure wlan0 is running. Open your octoprint web interface.
